Zakho - ALsharqiya, August 10: Zakho Club announced the appointment of Qatari Wissam Rizk as the team's coach for the next season, succeeding Abdulghani Shahad. The contract with Rizk, 44, came after Zakho finished runner-up in the Iraq Cup last season, which qualified them to participate in the Gulf Clubs Championship next season. Rizk becomes the second Qatari coach to appear in the Iraqi league this season, after his compatriot Talal Al-Balushi, who was appointed coach of Al-Talaba.
