Washington - Al sharqiya, August 13: The White House said that Friday's summit between Trump and Putin is "a listening exercise for the president," reducing expectations of a quick ceasefire agreement between Russia and Ukraine. White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said that only one party from each side of the war will be present, so this is about the president going there to get a better understanding of how to end this war again. She added that Trump will meet face-to-face with Putin during the talks in Alaska, and he may also visit Russia in the future.
