MADRID - Al sharqiya, August 13: Spain expressed its support for French President Emmanuel Macron's proposal to form an international coalition with a UN mandate to achieve stability in Gaza, describing it as one of the tools that can bring peace to the region. The Spanish Foreign Ministry said that the proposal is one of the tools that can help establish peace and security in Gaza and the Middle East, as well as for the work of UNRWA as a UN agency assisting the Palestinian people, adding that this force should be a step towards achieving a two-state solution. The Spanish Foreign Ministry stated that dispatching a temporary mission from the United Nations could contribute to the successful transfer of authority to an administration affiliated with a Palestinian state and achieve peace and security for all.
