Basra - Al-Sharqiya, July 27: Unidentified persons vandalized a vital 33 kV power cable in Basra with the intention of stealing it, which led to a power outage in several areas in the governorate, including the Turkish Hospital. The Ministry of Electricity stated that this criminal act caused a power outage in the Al-Jihad neighborhood and other areas in Basra, and that the power station is currently operating on the second source, with two hours on and two hours off.
