New York - Al Sharqiya, August 4: A heat wave has swept across several regions in Western Europe, especially in Spain and Portugal, where meteorologists in both countries expect temperatures to exceed 40 degrees Celsius. A video clip filmed using special technology showed temperatures in Spain and Portugal, which will reach 40 degrees Celsius in the coming days. According to the Spanish Meteorological Agency, the temperature may exceed 42 degrees Celsius around the Guadiana and Guadalquivir rivers. In addition, the United Nations warned that the world is dangerously close to exceeding the critical limit of global warming of 1.5 degrees Celsius, a threshold that could cause environmental damage to human livelihoods.
