Turkish Disaster Management Authority: 6 people sustained minor injuries due to a panic attack.

ANKARA - Al sharqiya, August 11: Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Sunday evening that seven aftershocks measuring above 3 on the Richter scale had been recorded in Manisa province, following the earthquake that struck western Turkey earlier. Authorities said six people suffered minor injuries while trying to escape due to a panic attack, stressing that their lives were not in danger. The Turkish Interior Ministry had announced that a 6.1-magnitude earthquake struck the Sindurgi district of Balikesir province, and was felt by residents of Ankara and Istanbul.
