Washington - ALsharqiya, July 26: US President Donald Trump announced that he is considering sending cash refund checks to Americans using revenue generated from tariff increases imposed on US trading partners. Trump told reporters on Friday at the White House before departing for a trip to Scotland: "We're actually looking at it—we have a lot of money coming in, and we're thinking about a small refund. A small refund for people with limited income would be very nice." Trump also suggested that using the revenue to address the US debt is another option, adding, "The big thing we want to do is pay down the debt. But we're also thinking about a refund."
