London-ALSHARQIYA August 27 : The famous Hollywood star Tom Cruise presented, on Thursday, what he described as the most dangerous depiction of a scene in an action and thriller movie, as part of his work on his next movie, which is the seventh in the "Mission Impossible" series.
Cruz is famous for performing the stunts in his films by himself without the assistance of a substitute, and in this scene he takes a motorbike to descend from a cliff and then a huge cliff in Norway, leaving it in the air, before the parachute opens.
Entertainment media reported that the sensational video clip of Cruz speaking with director Christopher McQuarrie was shown at a gathering of cinema operators and Hollywood studio executives in Las Vegas.
"This is by far the most dangerous thing I've tried," Cruz said in the video, according to Deadline Hollywood. "We've been working on it for years...I've wanted to do it since I was a little boy."
The seventh part of the "Mission: Impossible" movie series, in which Cruise returns to embody the spy character "Ethan Hunt", is scheduled to be shown next May, after the new Corona virus pandemic disrupted filming that included locations in Italy, Norway and Britain for more than a year. .
Cruz, 59, said he trained for more than a year to master the stunt he performed in this film. The Hollywood Reporter reported that this training included 500 jumping sessions from airplanes and 13,000 motorcycle jumps. The scene was filmed and repeated six times.
