Turkey-Alsharqiya September 19: The art world was shaken by the sad news about Turkish star Mervi Kayalp, who ended her life yesterday, Monday, at the age of 36.
The actress, who appeared in many Turkish series and films, most notably A Matter of Honor and The Warrior, which was very popular among the public, committed suicide in a residence.
Upon hearing the sound of gunshots coming from the balcony of the second floor of a residential building on Gazi Street in Dalaman, residents informed the emergency call center 112. Immediately after the alert, Turkish health and police teams moved to the scene.
During the examination conducted by the medical staff, it was found that film actress Murphy Kayalp had died. The crime scene investigation teams transferred her body to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institute in Muğla for an autopsy.
Murphy graduated from the Department of Acting at Isparta Suleyman Demirel University, and after working at the Istanbul State Theater for about a year and a half, she moved to alternative theatres.
She participated in the TV series "Sakarya Fırat", "Little Doomsday", "Dreams and Hopes", "Elif", "Şeref Meselesi" and "Savaşçı".
