Turkey-ALsharqiya 4 August: The company confirmed that the movie "The Ruby's House" is the first Arab film to be shown in Turkish cinemas in decades, and that its showing will start on August 4, 2023, and will continue until the 25th of the same month.
Ibrahim Bakdash, director of the Damas Film Company, confirmed that "The Ruby's House" is the first Arabic film that will be shown in Turkey legally and licensed by the Turkish government, because there were many previous illegal attempts to show some films.
He added in a statement that the film will be shown in many cinemas in 15 Turkish states, namely: (Istanbul, Ankara, Bursa, Gaziantep, Sanliurfa, Izmir, Samsun, Konya, Diyarbakir, Mardin, Yalova, Trabzon, Adana, Mersin). , and Antalya).
The director of "Damas Film" also revealed that the company is the owner of the broadcasting rights to the movie "House of the Ruby" by purchasing the rights from the production company, and that it has signed several partnership contracts with other production companies in Egypt to show its films in the future in Turkey, explaining that the company " Damas Film" is recent, its goal is to promote cultural exchange between Turks and Arabs through visual media, and therefore it has begun to promote the importance of Arab films in Turkey.
