Nabil Abu Rudeineh, spokesman for the Palestinian president, said in a statement that the Israeli government's decisions mean the continuation of attempts to displace the population of the Strip and commit more massacres and acts of destruction. He called on the international community, specifically the US administration, to assume its responsibilities and stop the Israeli invasion of the Gaza Strip. Hamas issued a statement, the second in a few hours, strongly condemning the Israeli occupation government's decision to occupy Gaza. Hamas called on the United Nations and the International Criminal Court to take urgent action and stop this plan. It held the US administration responsible for the occupation's crimes due to its support for Israel. Hamas confirmed on Thursday evening that the statements of the Israeli Prime Minister represent a blatant coup against the course of negotiations, and that Netanyahu's plans to expand the aggression confirm beyond a shadow of a doubt that he seeks to get rid of the prisoners and sacrifice them.
