Kuala Lumpur - Al Sharqiya , June 30: The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has released a new ranking of the continent's football leagues, placing the Iraqi Premier League in 12th place. The new ranking for the 2024-2025 season, published by the AFC on its official website, shows the Saudi League in first place, followed by the Japanese League in second place, the South Korean League in third place, the Emirati League in fourth place, and the Qatari League in fifth place. Meanwhile, the Iranian League came in sixth place, followed by the Thai League in seventh place, the Chinese League in eighth place, the Uzbek League in ninth place, and the Australian League in tenth place. Meanwhile, the Malaysian League came in eleventh place, followed by the Iraqi Premier League.
