Basra - Al Sharqiya, July 23: Technical personnel in Basra have installed generating units and other components for the Al-Hawsh and Al-Fatihiyah power stations, in line with the Prime Minister's directives to develop production in the province. Local officials say that work is underway to rehabilitate stations that have been idle since 2025 to add 200 megawatts distributed across the districts of northern Basra.
