Baghdad - ALsharqiya, August 2: For the first time in weeks, Iraq dropped out of the list of cities with the highest temperatures during the past 24 hours, as the heatwave that hit Iraq for several days early last week subsided. Abadan in Iran topped the list of the 15 hottest cities, which also included areas in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, and Qatar. No Iraqi city recorded a temperature exceeding 46 degrees Celsius.
