The head of the Progress Party continues his tours in Kirkuk

Kirkuk - ALsharqiya, August 9: The head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, continues his tours and meetings between the districts and sub-districts of Kirkuk Governorate for the fourth consecutive day. On Saturday, al-Halbousi visited the Al-Sada al-Ashraf clans’ host and met with a number of tribal leaders and discussed with them the situation in Kirkuk Governorate and ways to improve its situation. Al-Halbousi also attended mass gatherings in a number of districts and sub-districts of Kirkuk, during which he stressed the importance of the active participation of the Arabs of Kirkuk during the upcoming parliamentary elections. The head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, stressed that the Arabs of Kirkuk are an essential part of the nation that the party represents. Al-Halbousi said during a mass gathering for Sheikh Wasfi al-Assi that the Progress Party seeks to produce leaders, not representatives, in order to raise this nation and obtain its rights. The head of the Progress Party, Mohammed al-Halbousi, stressed the necessity of establishing the principle of partnership and representation in Kirkuk by rotating the main positions in the governorate among all its components in a manner that preserves the rights and entitlements of each component.
