Baghdad - Al-Sharqiya, August 13: The President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP), Masoud Barzani, held two separate meetings with the Turkish and Russian consuls in Erbil, and discussed with them the political situation in Iraq and developments in the region. Masoud Barzani exchanged views with Erman Topcu, the Turkish Consul General in Erbil, on the situation in Iraq and relations between the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Iraqi federal government. In the other meeting, the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and the Russian Consul shed light on the changes the region is going through and the formation of the new government cabinet in Kurdistan.
