The death toll from floods in Beijing rises.

BEIJING -Al  Sharqiya, July 31: The death toll from the deadliest floods to hit the Chinese capital, Beijing, has risen to at least 60, including 31 in a nursing home. Xia Linmao, Beijing's deputy mayor, told a press conference that 44 people were killed and nine others were missing as of Thursday afternoon. Authorities said 16 people were killed by torrential rains in Hebei province, near Beijing.
