Erbil - ALsharqiya, July 22: The Federal Ministry of Finance in Iraq announced the commencement of disbursing salaries to employees and workers in the public sector in the Kurdistan Region for the month of May, following the regional government’s commitment to hand over oil and non-oil revenues. The ministry said in a statement that it has begun disbursing salaries to the region’s employees for the month of May, in implementation of Cabinet Resolution 550. The Ministry of Finance and Economy in the Kurdistan Region announced on Tuesday morning the deposit of the Iraqi treasury’s share of non-oil financial revenues into the bank account of the Federal Ministry of Finance, amounting to 120 billion dinars for the month of May.
