Egypt-Al-Sharqiya September 23: The star Sherine Abdel Wahab submitted an official report to the Public Prosecutor against Mohamed Al-Shaer, the admin of the Twitter page owned by the artist Sherine Abdel-Wahab, after he deleted her official Twitter account, and filed the complaint No. 54407 of 2023.
The report submitted by the legal advisor, Yasser Kantoush, the private lawyer of the artist Sherine Abd Al-Wahab, included that his client owns a page on Twitter called “Sherine Abd-Wahab” and within the page there is an account for profits, and this account is used by only one person, who is the admin, and it can only be changed by Nah.
The defendant, Muhammad Osama Mahmoud Hassanein Al-Shaer, known as “Muhammad Al-Shaer,” as the admin, created a business account on the page and activated it on his own bank account number, without the approval or written permission of the owner of the page, and thus the defendant may obtain all the money. The profits are generated through views of the complainant’s page.
The report added that the defendant harmed the complainant and exploited the page to his advantage and diverted the profits, and that the act he committed is considered a component of the crimes of fraud and breach of trust.
In the end, Sherine Abdel Wahab’s lawyer asked the Public Prosecutor to kindly investigate the report in order to preserve all of the complainant’s rights and to protect her money and so that she does not use modern electronic means to seize money.
