London - ALsharqiya, August 10: Security researchers have uncovered a critical vulnerability in Google's Gemini artificial intelligence system that allows hackers to control smart home devices such as lights and doors through fake calendar invitations containing programmed instructions. Experts explained that the attack is carried out by requesting a "calendar event summary," which prompts Gemini to unwittingly activate hidden instructions, which could lead to serious real-world consequences, especially in self-driving cars. For its part, Google confirmed that it has addressed several vulnerabilities and continues to improve its protection systems to prevent any future exploitation.
