Mosul - Al Sharqiya, August 12: Work is continuing at an accelerated pace on the banks of the Tigris River to rehabilitate the riverfront in Old Mosul after the Council of Ministers approved increasing the reserve and the total cost of the project. The work includes the construction of 273 residential homes owned by residents that were damaged during the war along the project’s designated path, in preparation for the establishment of service facilities and public squares that will restore the city’s aesthetic appearance and cultural status. This project comes within a comprehensive plan to revive the landmarks of Old Mosul and enhance its tourism and cultural role.
