Moscow-ALSHARQIYA August 30 : On Friday, August 27, in Moscow's Red Square, the 14th International "Spasskaya Tower" festival of military orchestras opened.
The opening ceremony of the festival witnessed a large concert in which 14 orchestras representing Russia, Belarus, Greece, Qatar and Mexico participated.
Representatives of Qatar participated in the festival for the first time. The bright blue uniforms of the Qatari police band members differed from the costumes of the other participants, and the orchestra played melodies for national composers. The Qatari Armed Forces Military Band, along with the Qatari Armed Forces' military parade crew, presented the bullfighter tunes from the opera "Carmen" and a number of Qatari folk songs.
The concert was opened by the Presidential Orchestra of the Commander of the Kremlin Garrison in Moscow. And her first performance was the song "March of Enthusiasts" by Isaac Dunavsky from the movie "Path of Light".
