London - Al Sharqiya, January 17: The Iraqi Foreign Minister, Fuad Hussein, opened the Iraqi Cultural Center in the British capital, London, in the presence of the Minister of Culture. The Foreign Minister delivered a speech on behalf of the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, in which he stressed that the opening of the cultural center is an important step to invest in the cultural heritage of Iraq, and activate The role of Iraqi intellectuals, elites and artists in the diaspora, as this has an important impact in strengthening Iraq’s cultural status on the international scene. On the other hand, the embassy received Iraq in London from the British side, a rare artifact, an Assyrian tablet dating back between (883 and 859) BC and weighing 333 kg.
