Basra - Al sharqiya, July 24: Officials revealed to Reuters the value of the contract for the seawater desalination project in Basra. The officials said that the Chinese company Power China won a contract worth approximately four billion dollars to build a large seawater desalination plant in the city of Basra in partnership with a local Iraqi company. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani said that Power China is a company with high and advanced technological expertise in this field.
