Washington-ALsharqiya January 30: Reports revealed that the US digital platform, Netflix, has begun testing a new feature, which is a sleep timer. Netflix is currently testing the new feature on its Android application, which if activated, the user will be able to specify a specific time for the application to work before it stops working automatically in order to sleep, and the time specified by the application ranges between 15, 30 or 45 minutes.
The new feature will be very satisfactory for Netflix users who are accustomed to watching an episode or two of one of the series before going to sleep, and it will also be useful for those who sleep while watching Netflix, as it will help them avoid waking up without low battery charge on their devices. Netflix has now introduced the sleep timer feature to a limited number of users for the sake of experimenting, and in the event that it meets great approval, it may put it on other devices. Lots of other apps have a sleep timer, including apps that focus on songs and audio files, such as Spotify, Pocket Casts, and Pandora.
