Moroccan designer Sarah Chraibi, guest of Paris Fashion Week

Paris-ALSharqiya, July 14: Moroccan designer Sarah Chraibi participated in the official schedule of Paris Fashion Week at the invitation of the Federation of Haute Couture. As part of its activities, she presented her collection of couture designs for the upcoming fall and winter under the name of her brand, Maison Sara Chraibi.

Sarah Chraibi realizes that the meaning of high fashion is only complete when the latter enters into a dialogue with those who wear it and gives an exceptional character to stations in their lives. The designs of her collection were inspired by Al-Buraq, the legendary winged horse known in Islamic traditions. For the designer, it marked a creative exploration of merging contemporary aesthetics with cultural motifs, resulting in sumptuous designs that celebrate Moroccan heritage.

The designs showed Sarah Sharaibi's influence on the architectural motifs that recall her specialization in the field of engineering and focus on her skill in using lines and motifs in the field of fashion design. The collection featured curve-sleeved coats, collarless jumpsuits with long capes, gowns inspired by Moroccan caftans, and minimalist designs with an extravagant feel.

The designer used three-dimensional embroidery and transformed transparent materials into caftans that highlight the elegance of movement. She also used sabra threads - silk extracted from the cactus plant - in traditional Moroccan embroideries. A hooded jacket was decorated with hundreds of pearls. All of this shows the designer's endeavor to provide unique designs in the fashion world.

The show included about 25 looks that were dominated by black and white colors, with some golden, navy, and gray touches. The designs succeeded in combining the modern and traditional characters, which made them admired by many fashion-conscious people in the eastern and western worlds alike.
