More than 2,300 firefighters and rescuers are involved in fighting the fire.

Bursa - Al sharqiya, July 28: Turkish authorities have evacuated more than 3,500 people from areas surrounding the city of Bursa due to two fires raging in the area. Turkish Agriculture and Forestry Minister Ibrahim Yumakli confirmed that citizens were evacuated to safe places, adding that 2,300 firefighters and rescue workers participated in fighting the fires amid strong winds, along with more than 850 vehicles, six planes and four helicopters in the area. In the rural Karabük province in northern Turkey, firefighters continue to extinguish a fire in the area, 72% of which is covered by forests, which necessitated the evacuation of more than 1,800 residents.
