Kurdistan Region's oil production is 120,000 barrels per day

Baghdad - ALsharqiya, July 29: Reuters quoted two Kurdish energy officials as saying that oil production in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq has reached about 120,000 barrels per day and is expected to rise to an average of 280,000 by mid-August. The two officials said that it has not yet been possible to agree with the Iraqi Oil Ministry on a timetable for resuming crude exports from the Kurdistan Region, noting that the region's total production has reached 285,000 barrels per day. The Ministry of Natural Resources in Kurdistan announced that several oil fields had stopped operating due to severe damage to their infrastructure as a result of drone attacks this month.
