Baghdad - ALsharqiya January 29: The Minister of Communications in Iraq, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, welcomed the decision of Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani to direct the Integrity Commission to investigate the validity of the ministry's contracts. Al-Yasiri said via Asharqia News that the ministry's doors are open to all oversight bodies, indicating its readiness to host parliamentary committees to clarify any inquiries. The Minister of Communications, Hiyam Al-Yasiri, commented on the move of three Iraqi female representatives to open the files of the Ministry of Communications and said that countries are proud when women hold important positions, but she stressed that she respects parliamentary work in monitoring the government's performance. Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani directed the Federal Integrity Commission to work on auditing the validity of the procedures of the Ministry of Communications regarding cases of smuggling Internet capacities. The government spokesman said that Al-Sudani directed the audit of the contract for the transfer of transit capacities of the IQ Internet Services Company and to determine whether there are new contracts with the aforementioned company.
