Emirates-Alsharqiya September 1: Today, Iraq lost one of the brightest stars of poetry and art, the great poet Karim Al-Iraqi, who lived a very long suffering with illness, lasting more than ten years.

Al Sharqiya Channel for Iraqis mourned the great poet Karim Al Iraqi, who died in the Emirati capital, Abu Dhabi, after suffering for a very long time with illness.

The late beloved poet Karim al-Iraqi, whom Saad al-Bazzaz awarded the Creativity Medal in 2013, left behind his people hundreds of poems sung by the most famous Iraqi and Arab singers, led by his lifelong companion, Tsar Kazem al-Saher.

The great poet Karim al-Iraqi, who was born in Baghdad in 1955, became famous for his patriotic and sentimental poems. He won several international and Arab awards in recognition of his poetic poems that enriched Iraqi and Arab songs.
