Iran is on alert to protect the oil sector from potential attacks

TEHRAN-ALSHARQIYA Sept 30  - Iranian Oil Minister Begin Zanganeh urged the oil industry to be prepared for military or cyberattacks amid mounting tension between Iran and the United States, and said all oil industry companies and facilities should be on high alert to face threats of cyberattacks or attacks at a time. The sanctions targeted the oil industry and reports circulated over the past two days that some Iranian companies working in the field of petrochemicals and other areas have been subjected to cyber attacks, despite the denial of official Iranian authorities responsible for cyber security success of this attack
