Hunger deaths exceed 100 children in Gaza

Gaza - ALsharqiya, August 12: The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) described the death toll from child malnutrition passing the 100-mark as a catastrophic milestone that stains the world's reputation and calls for urgent, long-overdue action. OCHA added that the United Nations and its partners were able to bring in some food, fuel, and supplies last Sunday through the Kerem Shalom crossing, but the shipments were unloaded before reaching their destinations. The World Food Programme (WFP) also indicated that more than 300,000 children in Gaza are at severe risk, and that more than a third of the population reported not eating for days on end.
