Paris-ALSHARQIYA, July 22: The "Lyst" index, in its classification of the most famous brands, revealed that the Loewe fashion and accessories brand won the title of the most attractive brand at the beginning of this summer. How could this Spanish brand of the LVMH group advance over other brands that used to rank at the forefront in this index, such as: Gucci, Prada, and Balenciaga?
The "Lyst" platform relies to issue its quarterly reports on sales figures, found online, and data that represents the overall brand impact. It issues its indicators in this field 4 times a year, making it a reference in the fashion world. More than 150 million people use it every year to make their purchases from 12,000 brands and stores spread around the world.
Loewe, thanks to its Artistic Director Jonathan Anderson, was able to achieve a 19% increase in online searches over the last quarter.
According to the Lyst index, this is due to its commitment to craftsmanship and creativity, which drew attention to it and increased its sales numbers. Anderson's success comes twofold, as his own brand, JW Anderson, also managed to maintain its position among the top 20 brands in the Lyst index.
In the list of the top 10 brands for this season, Prada dropped one place to second place in the index, Versace ranked third after advancing 5 places, Miu Miu reached fourth place after falling two places, Bottega Veneta reached fifth place after advancing one place, while Valentino achieved sixth place after falling two places, and Saint Laurent reached seventh place after advancing 3 places.
The eighth place went to Moncler, which fell 5 places, while Gucci maintained the ninth place as last season, and Dior reached the tenth place after advancing one place.
Ranks ranging from 11 to 20 included a number of luxury brands, Louis Vuitton ranked 11, Dolce & Gabbana ranked 12, followed by Diesel, Burberry, Jacquemus, skims, Nike, Fendi, and jw Anderson, as we mentioned earlier. Balenciaga managed to reach number 16 after its success on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival.
As for the most remarkable thing this season in The Lyst Index, Versace recorded the highest rating it has achieved since the creation of the Lyst platform, after it used stars such as Dua Lipa and Anne Hathaway to reach a wide audience. Louis Vuitton moved up two places on the list thanks to its first men's collection featuring superstar Pharrell Williams, which was presented during a show that generated a buzz on social media.
