Google adds new feature to YouTube Music app

London - ALsharqiya December 10: Google has introduced some updates to the YouTube Music app for Android and iOS. The YouTube Music update allows you to share a specific song with someone, with a specific time within the audio content, or a specific part of the song being heard, which is a feature that will be very useful for podcasts. The sharing feature now adds a small “Start from x:xx” toggle button in the top right corner, according to a report published by the “phonearena” website. This feature works exactly like its counterpart in the regular YouTube app: it adds the hour, minutes and seconds to the URL of the shared song or audio if you specify that you want to share with a time tag. This feature seems to be most useful for podcasts, but it can be very useful for recordings of long concerts or even songs if you want someone to listen to a specific part. The addition of this feature also helps to achieve consistency across the different YouTube-branded apps.
