PARIS - Al Sharqiya, June 3: German Alexander Zverev reached the quarter-finals of the French Open for the seventh time in the last eight years, after the withdrawal of his Dutch opponent, Tallon "Greek Spoohr. Zverev, the runner-up in last year's edition and ranked third in the world, led his Dutch counterpart 6-4, 3-0, before the Dutchman called the doctor due to an injury, and then announced his withdrawal, in the third confrontation between the two this year. Zverev awaits the Serbian Novak Djokovic in the quarter-finals.
