New York-ALSHARQIYA October 9: Facebook apologized to users for a two-hour disruption to services on Friday, and attributed the second outage worldwide in a week to another malfunction during a settings change. The company confirmed that its social networking platform, Instagram and Messenger and Workplace applications were affected by this outage, but it was able to fix the defect and return all applications to work normally. Users were unable to load the home page of the Instagram application, while others failed to send messages through the Messenger application as a result of this sudden malfunction.
