Extension of the trade agreement between Washington and Beijing

Washington - ALsharqiya, August 12: The United States and China extended their tariff truce for another 90 days, averting hefty duties as American retailers prepare to stock up ahead of the end-of-year holiday season. US President Donald Trump announced on his Truth Social platform that he signed an executive order suspending the imposition of higher tariffs through November 10, while all other elements of the truce remain in place. China's Ministry of Commerce issued parallel steps early Tuesday, saying it would take action to address non-tariff barriers facing US products.
