Baghdad - Al-Sharqiya, August 11: Head of the Hikma Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the necessity of Turkmen having a role in future governments that is consistent with their size as a third component. This came during his meeting with the head of the Turkmen Front, Mohammed Semaan. Al-Hakim stressed the importance of the upcoming parliamentary elections and the necessity of Turkmen having parliamentary representation that is consistent with their size and status. He also renewed the call for broad, effective and informed participation in them.
