Diyala - Al Sharqiya July 15: Diyala province witnessed a decrease in electricity supply on Tuesday, at a time when temperatures reached nearly fifty degrees Celsius. The Electricity Directorate in the province said that the hours of supply decreased to two and a half hours of outage, compared to only one and a half hours of supply, after the Ministry of Electricity reduced the province’s share from 1050 megawatts to 800 megawatts. The Ministry of Electricity indicated that the decrease in supply was caused by a technical fault in the cable feeding the Mustafa electricity distribution station, 11/33 kV.
