Paris-ALSharqiya, July 6: As part of the activities of Paris Fashion Week, Georges Hobeika presented its new haute couture fall-winter 2023-2024. This collection was titled "Dream", and it comes as a celebration of the senses that awakens a colorful dream adorned with hope for a bright future.
Luxurious designs were colored in soft pastel gradations, and were executed with the finest types of fabrics such as silk, satin duchesse, organza, taffeta, muslin crepon, and crepe georgette. It is decorated with embroideries of roses, tulips, branches, and butterflies that evoke nature, the permanent source of inspiration for the house. The designs were also adorned with luxurious velvet fabrics, three-dimensional petals, ripples of organza, as well as crystal beads, feathers, and pearls that were affixed to the designs with high craftsmanship.
The duo Georges and Jad Hobeika, who are in charge of the house's creative management, revealed that the implementation of this collection comes as a tribute to the power of dreams. They wanted to present designs that embody the essence of hope and optimism through the use of colors and lines that inspire joy and happiness, and they were keen to make these designs a celebration of femininity and elegance by making women feel confident and beautiful.
This collection evokes a sense of romance, femininity, and luxury through its flowing gowns adorned with delicate motifs that embody the craftsmanship of the work team in the workshops of Georges Hobeika. It brings colorful dreams to life with its pastel shades: soft pinks, soft lilacs, delicate blues, and greens. This painting is only complete with vibrant gradations that express the strong emotions generated by surreal dreams.
These designs were coordinated with distinctive accessories: a metal belt decorated with tulips, butterfly earrings, a delicate face mask, and three-dimensional crystal flowers to decorate the hair. All of which makes each look in this collection simply embody the concept of "feminine beauty".
At the end of the show, the wedding dress was revealed, the focal piece of this collection that seems to have come out of a dream world. With its ethereal design and delicate embroidery, it embodies the craftsmanship of the Maison's ateliers, evoking the appearance of haze and the magic of fantasy.
