Basra - Al Sharqiya August 5: Conflicting information exists about the causes of death of a female psychiatrist in Basra province, named Ban Ziad Tariq. While Basra police said the death was a suicide due to the doctor suffering from psychological disorders, doctors and specialists rejected the suicide hypothesis. The deceased did not show any unacceptable behavior or indicate that she was mentally ill. They called on the concerned authorities to investigate the incident, which they said was a deliberate crime.
