Como - Al Sharqiya, August 12: Italian club Como has submitted an official offer to Barcelona to sign goalkeeper Iñaki Pena during the current summer transfer window. According to the Football Italia website, Como's request came after the two teams' friendly match in the Joan Gamper Trophy. The website explained that Pena is the only option Como is considering to guard the team's goal in the new season, but he is not the only club interested in signing him. It is noteworthy that Iñaki Pena's contract with Barcelona expires next summer, which allows him to leave for free if the contract is not renewed.
