USA-ALSharqiya, July 27: The CFDA Council of Fashion Designers of America announced the official agenda for New York Fashion Week, which will be held from September 8 to 13, and which will be opened by Helmut Lang with its new Spring 2024 collection, which will bear for the first time the signature of designer Peter Do, while it will be concluded by the brand Luar by Raul Lopez on Sept. 13, CFDA Fashion Awards Winner of the Year, in the Accessory Designer category.
The initial program for New York Week includes 71 different shows, in addition to a series of online presentations.
Among the famous brands that will be participating this week are Alice + Olivia, Altuzarra, Anna Sui, Badgley Mischka, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Dion Lee, Gabriela Hearst, Jason Wu, Khaite, LaQuan Smith, Michael Kors, Prabal Gurung, Proenza Schouler, Tibi, Tory Burch and others.
It is also confirmed that the famous designer Ralph Lauren will return to display his designs within the official agenda of this event, as he will unveil his new collection on September 8 at seven in the evening, and Jonathan Cohen, 3.1 Philipp Lim and Sally LaPointe will return to the same event, while Thom Browne, who is the CEO of CFDA, does not plan to present any offers within this event, after he participated for the first time in the Paris Haute Couture Week, which was held recently.
