USA-ALSHARQIYA September 13: American pop singer Britney Spears announced her engagement to her boyfriend Sam Asgari, in a post on the "Instagram" application, on Sunday.
Spears, who has been fighting in court to overturn a guardianship order imposed on her personal and financial affairs for 13 years, posted a video of herself standing next to Asgari, 27, displaying a ring on her finger.
Asgari's business manager, Brandon Cohen, confirmed to People magazine Spears and Asgari's engagement.
Spears, 39, has been married twice before. In 2004 she married her childhood friend Jason Alexander, but the marriage ended just days later.
Later that year, she married dancer Kevin Federline, with whom she had two children before divorcing in 2007.
Asghari is a personal trainer and actor who appeared on Showtime's "Black Monday" series.
