Basra records 52.1 degrees Celsius on Tuesday

Basra - ALsharqiya July 29: Basra recorded again on Tuesday a temperature exceeding 52 degrees Celsius in a list that also included thirteen Iraqi cities out of the fifteen hottest in the world. Basra Airport topped the list with the highest temperatures in the world at 52.1 degrees Celsius, followed by Al-Hussein neighborhood in Basra with 51.8 degrees Celsius, while temperatures in the cities of Karbala and Kut reached 51.3 degrees, then Najaf 51.2 degrees, Badra in Wasit 51 degrees, then the cities of Kut, Nasiriyah and Al-Rifai with 50.9 degrees, followed by Amara and Khanaqin 50.8 degrees, and finally Diwaniyah 50.7 degrees.
