Azzaman Newspaper editor receives thousands of letters reassuring about his health

Baghdad-ALsharqiya, March 4: The editor-in-chief of Al-Zaman newspaper, Dr.Ahmed Abdul-Majeed, received thousands of messages to reassure his health while he was recovering from infection with the Corona virus. The editor-in-chief of Al-Zaman newspaper received messages of reassurance from the Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, and from political leaders, wishing him a speedy recovery from the virus. He also received thousands of messages from writers, journalists and public figures in Iraq and the Arab world to check on his health and his recovery from the virus. Ahmed Abdul Majeed, who holds a doctorate from the College of Information at the University of Baghdad, is considered one of the best journalists in Iraq and the Arab world. He has headed the editor of Al-Zaman newspaper, the Baghdad edition, since the first day of its publication in 2003 and until now. Before that, he practiced journalistic work in many Iraqi and Arab newspapers, and in the 1990s he had a daily columnist with wide follow-up by readers for his efforts in discussing issues related to people's lives.
