Al-Ayed indicated in a press conference held with Ayman Samawi, Executive Director of the festival, to announce the program of events this morning, Thursday, at the Royal Cultural Center in the Jordanian capital, Amman, that the festival, which is held under the slogan “Jerash .. adorned with joy” constitutes a source of reviving hope, especially It comes in light of the national celebration marking the centenary of the founding of the Jordanian state, an occasion that will be celebrated within the artistic and cultural programs of the festival, based on the fact that Jordan is an oasis of security and stability in its cultural diversity and social fabric.

Al-Ayed drew attention to the fact that the festival, which is directly sponsored by Jordan’s King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, is being held in the ancient city of Jerash (48 km north of Amman), as well as major events in the capital Amman and some other governorates during the period between 22/22 9 and until the next 2/10, he called for taking all conditions of public health and safety in coordination with the Epidemiology Committee and the Ministry of Health regarding holding events, in terms of requiring distancing within precautionary measures and attending only 50% of the capacity of theaters and major concerts.
