Sulaymaniyah - Al Sharqiya , August 5: Authorities in Sulaymaniyah temporarily closed two mosques within one week due to water scarcity, an unusual move that highlighted a worsening water crisis plaguing the city. The daily water shortage has exceeded half, and the levels of the Dukan Dam have also fallen, reflecting the magnitude of the challenge threatening Sulaymaniyah and extending to all Iraqi cities.
