Babil - Al Sharqiya, August 10: Security forces in Babil province arrested antiquities traffickers and seized five antiquities in their possession. A statement by Babil police said that based on accurate information, the Intelligence Directorate was able to topple an illegal antiquities trafficking network after setting up a tight ambush through which the accused were lured from Baghdad to Babil. The statement indicated that the security forces arrested two suspects in possession of the antiquities, which the statement said were brought from Kirkuk province.
