United States-ALSHARQIYA 1 August: The American comedian Paul Robbins, who was famous for playing the character of the child man "B-wee Herman", died at the age of 70, in a role he abandoned after being convicted of sexual behavior in a cinema showing pornographic films.
Robbins died on Sunday after a six-year battle with cancer, according to a statement posted on the actor's official accounts on social media.
The statement indicated that "Paul fought cancer bravely and secretly for years, through his determination and spirituality that distinguished him," pointing out that the character "B-wee Hermann" played by Paul, through its positivity, imagination and belief in the importance of kindness, influenced generations of young and old. .
The actor has never spoken publicly about his illness.
Born in 1952 in New York, Paul Reubens began his career as a stand-up comedian in Los Angeles during the 1970s.
He rose to stardom in the 1980s with the character "B-wee Herman", an eccentric man with a childish personality who constantly wears a red tie.
